General FAQ
We are open 7 days a week at both locations. The Estate Winery & Tasting Room: Monday–Thursday 10am–5pm, Friday–Saturday 10am–6pm, Sunday 11am–6pm. The Main Street Tasting Room: Sunday–Thursday 11am–6pm, Friday–Saturday 11am–7pm.
Yes, our Riedel wineglasses are available for purchase for $10 each.
We offer Private Tours and Tastings (11:30am) and Small Group Tours and Tastings (1:30pm), both including six pre-selected samples of our wines. Reserve through our Estate Winery & Tasting Room page.
Reservations are not required to enjoy a wine tasting at the Estate Vineyard, though prepayment is required if you do reserve. Walk-ins for wine by the glass or bottle are welcome but seating under covered areas is not guaranteed. Call 830.644.2681 x502 for reservations.
Children and minors are welcome at either location. Young children must be supervised, and no minors are allowed to consume alcohol on the premises.
Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in our outdoor areas. Pet owners are responsible for their pet’s behavior, and all pets must be current on vaccinations.
Both the Estate Winery & Tasting Room and Main Street Tasting Room offer charcuterie boards that comfortably feed two people, along with other light bites.
We typically have live music on Saturdays (1–4pm) and Sundays (noon–3pm) at the Estate Winery & Tasting Room.
No, we do not offer overnight accommodations.
Typically mid-April through early May, though an unusually warm February or March can bring an earlier bloom.
Yes, we ship to most states. An adult signature is required at delivery for packages containing alcohol — we recommend shipping to a business address or UPS Access Point. We evaluate our shipping states every six months as laws change.
Each state has different laws determining if we are legally allowed to ship to its residents. Sometimes there are restrictions based on how much wine a winery produces or extremely high fees that interfere with our ability to ship wines. We evaluate our shipping states every 6 months and laws change all the time, so more states are added as possible.
Becker Vineyards wines are available in retail stores across Texas, though selection differs from what you’ll find at our tasting rooms or on our website.
Our Estate Winery occasionally has used barrels for sale, first come first serve, for $50 plus tax.
Wine Club FAQ
No, wines for Wine Club shipments are selected by Dr. Becker and our winemaker, Jon Leahy. No substitutions are permitted.
Credit cards are charged before each shipment. See the Wine Club page for exact dates.

We hold wines for 6 months, after which we’ll reach out to arrange pickup or shipping. Unclaimed wines are considered forfeited.
