Cabernet-Syrah Reserve 2018

From our best Texas High Plains vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon complements Syrah from the Becker Vineyards' Estate. Aging in French and American oak barrels, approximately 30% new oak, yields a full bodied wine with silky mouthfeel, dark berry fruits with a smoky lingering finish. This is a wine that has weight to stand up to heavier meals while still enjoyable without food, if so desired.
Aromatics: Hints of violet, toasted oak, dried cherries
On the Palate: Blueberries, blackberries, cherry compote, toasted vanilla and coffee, balanced full tannins, black tea and smoke finish
