Claret 2017

Les Trois Dames refers to three heroic and determined Texas grape growing women: Brenda Canada's Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, Gay Wilmeth's Merlot and Betty Bingham's Cabernet Franc are the highlights of this Bordeaux-style wine. Their endurance and boldness is exemplified in this rich and complex wine.
Aromatics: Violets, rose petals, thyme, red fruit and warm baking spices
On the Palate: Lush tannins, ripe berries, dark currants, plum, minerality, followed by lingering toasted vanilla and ripe berry fruits

I LOVE this wine. It's decently priced and is very drinkable; not too sweet, not to dry. Lots of well balanced flavors with a hint of spice. We entertain often with varied guest lists and it's always a crowd pleaser from the North Hampton's elite to the Texas millennial.
