The 2015 Culinaria is truly an exhibit of Texas grown grapes and Texas made wine. The Zinfandel and Merlot are from the Diamante Doble vineyard in Tokio, TX; the Cabernet Franc is from the Bingham Family Vineyards and Cooper Vineyard in Brownfield, TX. The Petit Verdot and Barbera are from our own Peter’s Prairie Vineyard in Mason, TX. Fermented individually, then blended after a year of oak aging, we know you’re going to love this vintage.
Aromatics: cigar box, dried cherries, musty cellar floor (the best kind), currant, dried tea leaves
On the palate: quince, plum, clove, dried herbs and tea, bramble, spicy herbaceousness, sweet vanilla and so much more
