Indian Summer 2015

This vintage is a blend of Carignan, Malbec and Tempranillo sourced from both the Texas High Plains and Texas Hill Country AVAs. While each varietal was fermented seperately and aged for one year. Once blended, Indian Summer was aged an additional year and a half in a majority of neutral oak. This neutral oak allows the wine to maintain fruit forward characters while balancing tannic structure in a heavier bodied wine. The result is a full bodied red wine that pair delectably with Texas beef or TexMex cuisine.
Aromatics: Red fruit, raspberry, fresh thyme and dark toasted coffee notes
On the Palate: Bold tannins with well-rounded fruit, lingering coking spices, coffee and cherry notes.
