A wine with many layers and nuances, exemplifying what Malbec from Texas should be. Comprised of Malbec from several Texas growers across the state, blending a touch of Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah and Cinsault, it is soft on the palate with medium tannins, medium acidity. Aging in predominately American neutral oak barrels, creates this fuller bodied Malbec, with silky and plush mouthfeel, aromatics of slate and caramel, heady violets and ripe black cherries to greet you. At first sip, the lively red fruits of pomegranate, red plums, ripe black cherries lead to sour cherries on the smooth finish.

Aromatics: slate, hint of mint, caramel, almonds, violets, ripe Black cherries

On the Palate: Pomegranate, red plums, ripe black cherries, bright acidity, medium tannins, sour cherry on the finish

Enjoy now, age 5-10 years

No decant necessary while young

Serve 60-68°F
