2022 Ranger Hays

74% Malbec, 14% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon

Ranger John C. “Jack” Hays first surveyed what is now known as Becker Vineyards in the mid-1800s. Later, he made his profession as a Texas Ranger, renowned for his efforts in settling the Texas frontier. The artwork depicts his famous stand-off against a Comanche War Party, at nearby Enchanted Rock. Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Tannat create a gorgeous mosaic, developing a wine as captivating as its inspiration. Our new vintage of Ranger Hays is packed with aromas of plum, fresh jam, and anise. This specific vintage has excellently integrated tannins and a tart finish, bringing a refreshing edge to the wine.

2022 Tempranillo Reserve

80% Tempranillo, 20% Touriga Nacional

This next vintage of our Tempranillo Reserve is showcasing beautifully with a complex bouquet and a deep ruby hue. Layered with notes of dried fig, red cherries and cedar, this medium-bodied wine has a refreshing amount of acidity to hold up to the robust tannins.
