Inverno highlights the creativity of our winemaker developing a tapestry of of depth and flavor from the fruit sourced from the High Plains of Texas to reveal a great Bordeaux style blend.

Primarily Cabernet Franc blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and the depth of Petit Verdot weave together, candied cherries and toasted molasses on the nose with playful dried fruits of cherries and currants with a playful hint of eucalyptus and exquisite tannins.  Aging for nearly three years in predominately neutral American oak barrels brings the fruit expression through with subtle smoky characteristics which calls for a beautiful fire in the winter or early spring evenings.

Aromatics: Violets, olive brine, toasted molasses, leather

On the Palate: Dried cherries, dark plum, toasted brown sugar, red currants, and eucalyptus
