2021 MourvèdreIt isn’t often we showcase single varietal Rhone wines, but this vintage was too exceptional to blend it away. This wine offers a delicate balance of blackberry and black pepper, with hints of rose and meat sprinkled throughout the palette.

2022 Ranger HaysRanger John C. “Jack” Hays first surveyed what is now known as Becker Vineyards in the mid-1800's. Later, he made his profession as a Texas Ranger, renowned for his efforts settling the Texas frontier. The artwork depicts his famous stand-off against a Comanche War Party, at nearby Enchanted Rock. Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Tannat create a gorgeous mosaic, developing a wine as captivating as its inspiration. Aromatics of pine, violets, plums and caramel greet you. Smooth tannins, bright fruits and herbal tea open the palate, further revealing a mid-palate of vanilla and smoke which carries through the finish with red fruit compote notes. |
