Cabernet Sauvignon Main Street Reserve 2017

A collaboration between two Texas High Plains friendly vineyards, the Diamante Doble Dos Vineyard and Six Harts Vineyard, produced such beautifully ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, we couldn't help but create this Main Street Reserve.
A medium-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (95%), Tannat (3%), and Merlot (2%). It displays the fruit of rich cherries, figs, and earthiness with round, velvety tannins.
Aromatics: Ripe blackberry, raspberry, violets, cassis, toasted oak
On the Palate: Warm spice, plum, raspberries, chocolate, hints of vanilla, leather

We tried the Main Street Reserve on Valentines Day weekend at the Tasting Room in downtown Fredericksburg on Main Street, and instantly decided it's our new favorite, I didn't manage to save the bottles we bought while there, so we'll have to go back to buy more,.
