Inverno is the Winter release of our Quattro Stagione wine series. Given carte blanche, the winemaker's creativity to conceive a non-typical blend presents this interesting fusion of Texas Hill Country and Texas High Plains wines; when Italian varietals meet Bordeaux.
The bright fruit and jamminess of the Barbera, and the earthiness of the Sangiovese, are enhanced by the dark fruit notes of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Aged in both French and American oak barrels for nearly two years allows the complexity of the wine to shine with merely a kiss of toasted oak notes lingering in the finish.
Aromatics: Black Cherries, Plums, dried herbs, earthiness, toasted oak
On the Palate: Berries, well-balanced with oak and acidity
