Everything pretty deserves a new ‘do and Jolie got just that.
Using the saignée method of "bleeding" juice from red grapes yet treating it like a white wine, the 2019 Jolie is delicate, yet savory, opening with lighter aromatics than past vintages. The dominance of Syrah (40%) and Tempranillo (25%) provide the savory, ripe cherry, watermelon and peach notes immediately greeting you. Combining Mourvedre (15%), Grenache (15%) and Cinsault (5%) lend brightness and florals for a well-rounded rose. This is a wine that will pair with all things in life.
Aromatics: Hibiscus flowers, peaches, rose petals, white pepper, watermelon
On the Palate: Minerality, subtle light fruits of cherries and peaches, ripe watermelon, bright finish of ripe red apples
No decant necessary
