Malbec Reserve 2017
The 2017 Malbec Reserve is comprised of grapes from Drew Tallent's vineyard in Mason County, TX. The Malbec is complemented by the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat grown on the same vineyard. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and bright red fruits with floral and herbal notes, this wine was made to pair with your favorite leaner meats and savory mushroom sauces. We aged this vintage in a mixture of French and American oak barrels for two years, resulting in a silky wine with lingering fruit finish.
Aromatics: Cranberry, pomegranate, cherries, red beets, fennel
On the Palate: Dried herbs, raspberries, red plum, petrichor with a slate finish
Enjoy now, age 5+ years
