Reserve Merlot 2017

This rich, mature wine presents as a dry wine with concentrated red fruit, earthiness, and toboacco on the nose. It is fruit-forward and full-bodied in structure, retaining the soft, yet bold nature which makes Merlot so popular. Individual Merlot lots finished fermentation, then aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, both new and neutral. This revels a firm, tannic backbone well-balanced with a lush palate.
Aromatics: Rich jammy fruit, earth, violets and vanilla
On the Palate: Cassis, red fruits, tobacco and tannin, with a lingering fruit finish
