A long awaited Becker wine, the 2019 Zinfandel has arrived.
Raised by the Wilmeth family in Tokio, TX, 2019 proved to be a formidable grape-growing year. Warm temperatures and plenty of late summer rains create this bright, fruit-forward, medium-bodied wine. Neutral oak aging allowed expression of fruit and florals. Replete with cardamom, violets, and ground allspice on the nose, following with balanced fruit and savory flavors.
Aromatics: Hibiscus tea, Black fig preserves, ground allspice, violets
On the Palate: Cranberries, blackberries, figs, Kalamata olives, bright acidity, mild tannins, vanilla
No decant necessary
Serve 58-65ºF, in medium-bodied, aromatic glassware
Enjoy now, age 3-5 years
